More information

Maxwell Hardwood Flooring, Inc. has been manufacturing quality unfinished hardwood floors since 1992. Operations began with a modest 33 employees. Since that time, Maxwell Hardwood Flooring has been committed to a continuous program of improvements in safety, quality, production and service. These are the foundation blocks of the Maxwell Hardwood Flooring philosophy which include the development of customers, suppliers and employees.

Today the company and sister companies, Ouachita Hardwood Flooring and Townsend Flooring, Inc., employ over 250 hardworking and quality minded people. The companies run four unfinished production lines and manufacture a variety of ¾”, ½” and 5/8” thick unfinished solid and engineered, strip and plank hardwood flooring for nail or glue down installation. All flooring is NOFMA (The Wood Flooring Manufacturers Association) certified.

With over 100 acres of land and an array of facilities including a million board foot pre-dryer, five dry kilns with the capacity to hold 600,000 board feet, and three production lines, Maxwell Hardwood Flooring is in a position to service its customers.

The company manufactures environmentally sound products that the consumer can be confident in and feel good about using. New technologies and machinery enable the facility to utilize all wood waste and eliminate the use of fossil fuels to dry lumber.

Pellet fuel is just one of the by-products and is a renewable, cleaner burning, and efficient heating alternative. Burning wood pellets can be used as a substitute for electricity, wood fueled fireplaces and stoves or fossil fuels such as propane and natural gas. This is just another method in which the company supports a cleaner environment.

The company is family owned and operated and all Maxwell Hardwood products are made in the USA. The company will continue working toward its goals by making improvements in sales and service and manufacturing performance and striving to develop its number one asset….its people. Backed by a quality product and an excellent team of professionals, this goal can be easily met and exceeded, making the future of the company a solid one.
